As part of the work the Lymphoma Association do with the Worldwide Lymphoma Coalition, they celebrate World Lymphoma Awareness Day every year on 15th September.
As part of the celebrations the Lymphoma Association will once again be holding the Beacons of Hope Awards, where they will be recognising the contribution’s made by people who have a connection to the Association and/or lymphatic cancer.

Four awards will be given, with the categories being as follows:
Outstanding Contribution in Care and Support
Be it a medical professional, friend, family member, colleague etc. who
has made a real difference to a patients’ journey by providing outstanding
care and support.
Raising Awareness of Lymphoma
A person who the judges see have raised the profile of lymphoma - be it
in their local community, hospital, county – even the UK.
Lymphoma Association Fundraiser of the Year
Given to a fundraiser, or a group of fundraisers, who have gone above and
beyond the call of duty in raising funds for the charity. Please note, though,
this award will not necessarily be given to the person or persons who have
raised the most money.
Special Commendation
Someone who may or may not fall into the above categories, but
will be a person who the judges feel deserve special recognition for the
contribution they’ve made to lymphatic cancer patients and/or the Lymphoma
Association.
